Our Board
Pacifical Foundation’s Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the foundation’s operations and ensuring that it achieves its objectives. The board consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of seven natural persons appointed by the board, with the appointment of directors made by the board.
Currently, the following directors have been appointed for the first time:
The board may appoint a chairman, a secretary, and a treasurer from among its members. Each director is appointed for an indefinite period and must meet certain requirements, including being a natural person, having free management of their assets, and not being dismissed as director of a foundation in the last five years.
All directors may be reimbursed for the costs they reasonably incur in the performance of their duties but receive no remuneration for their work. A director can be suspended by the board and may lose their position due to various circumstances, including voluntary resignation or dismissal by the court.
Board meetings are held at a place in the Netherlands determined by the person who convenes the meeting. The director who has communicated an address to the foundation for this purpose may be summoned to the meetings of the board. The meetings are convened in writing, and resolutions may be taken legally if all directors are present or represented at the meeting.
